Hello!

I’m Jasmine Muir

(she/her)

Founder & Owner of Pivot with Purpose Therapy

MACP, Registered Psychotherapist

Everyone carries a unique story within them. Every story complex and filled with layers of experiences and emotions. Whenever you feel ready, know that there’s a compassionate space waiting for you to explore and share at your own pace.

I offer psychotherapy for individuals virtually across Ontario. My hope for you is to not only feel seen and heard but to also find a sense of safety within our space—a place where you can freely share and unfold your story. I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own life; after all, you’re living it every single day.

Drawing from my own journey navigating anxiety, grief, and the intricate nuances of my biracial identity, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the vital role of having a safe and supportive environment where I can authentically explore my emotions and lived experiences. Here, authenticity isn’t just welcomed; it’s celebrated.

I view the therapeutic space as a sanctuary—a nurturing environment where we can unpack your experiences, gently explore the whispers of your inner child, and delve into your inner dialogue with compassion, empathy and curiosity, while also gently challenging you when necessary.

Together, in our sessions, we’ll build a collaborative therapeutic relationship rooted in a secure, compassionate, non-judgmental environment. My focus is on meeting you exactly where you are. I’m here to empower you with boundary-setting strategies that prioritize your well-being, enhance your understanding of self, create meaningful connections and to collaboratively develop coping strategies tailored to your unique needs and objectives.

You’re not just a passenger in your life’s journey; you’re the driver, and I’m here to help you navigate the road ahead with confidence and empowerment. Connect with me and let’s explore how I can support you on your journey to healing and self-discovery.

Redefining Direction, Discovering Purpose

My approach is client-centered, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, employing a strength-based perspective. I believe tailoring sessions to your needs is fundamental because your journey is unique.

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we’ll ever do.”
